With roots in the Netherlands and a life in Mallorca, Maaike operates at the intersection of international wealth and the Spanish banking system. Her background in international corporations across sales, finance, and marketing shaped a broad global perspective on capital structures, cross-border income, and strategic negotiation. Early in her career, she built and led high-performing teams, earning a reputation for composure, precision, and commercial intelligence.
An entrepreneur since May 2013, she has consistently built and led her own ventures before founding her Spanish mortgage advisory in 2022.
Today, she advises international non-resident, HNW, and UHNW clients on complex property acquisitions throughout Spain. She personally leads sophisticated financing structures while maintaining close relationships with more than twenty Spanish banks, working in trusted collaboration with Mortgage Direct and selected referral partners.
To date, she has closed over €100 million in Spanish property financing.
She is known for her calm negotiation style, precision, and ability to align banks, clients, and stakeholders within complex international structures. Maaike discreetly translates global financial realities into solutions that meet Spanish banking criteria, structuring opportunities where others see obstacles.
